In line with the Ministry of Education’s historic nationwide commissioning of all completed educational projects across the country which is scheduled to take place concurrently at all the project sites, All Departmental and Unit Heads were humbly invited to the commissioning of the Anyinam TVET School on Thursday 21st November,2024 which was commenced at the school premises Anyinam, Darkokrom junction.The historical event witnessed the presence of the Hon Member of Parliament Abena Osei Asare, the representative for the Director General of TVET, the principal for Anyinam TVET, a representative from the Italian Embassy, the District Director for Education Miss Pearl Lionel Acquah, the representative for the Chief of Anyinam, the Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, all heads of department and unit from the assembly, Hon members of the Assembly, pollical parties members, and the media In the address of the Hon MP for Atiwa East constituency made some highlight on the vision of the government pertaining to education which is, the provision of quality education that equips citizens with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to national development. For this statement was made after she acknowledged the very presence of the dignitaries, and everyone present on the occasion. She went ahead to add more flesh to the provision of quality education. She said, thou there are many challenges the government is facing and the world as well, but still in resilience and in commitment to betterment of Ghana’s education, the government of Ghana in collaboration with the Italian government had put up 4 ultra-modern state of the art educational facilities of which Atiwa East Constituency now boost of one of the complexes. In addition, she stated the purpose of the complex which is to enhance the practical skills of Ghanaian children and to become a problem-solving.Hon Abena Osei Asare also made mention of the new curriculum incorporated to the TEVT to develop and enhance the practicality of the Ghanaian child. She said, through the Ghana Education Service, the TVET authorities and the NaCCA and other stakeholders a new curriculum have been developed to support the effective implementation of the TVET and have already been rolled out with the new entrance.The event pave way for the representative for TVET to also address the occasion. Few headlines made was the mission and vision of the TVET to every Ghanian child and how the state of the art is going to support student learning. She hailed the current government and Hon Abena Asare for partnering with international communities such as the Italian government to put up an ultra-modern state of the art for Atiwa East District. Finally, she edged student enrolled at the school to be mindful of themselves, to take their books very seriously, and to do their possible best to grap every skill and knowledge before graduating from the institution.The principal for Anyinam TVET in the person of Miss Rockson, in her address acknowledge and expressed her gratitude for the occasion. One of the headlines made by her was the commitment in collaboration with the staff to train the children as expected by the new curriculum, and to uphold the maintenance culture of the facility. In addition, the principal hail the MP and her collaborators including the District Assembly for putting up boys and girls dormitory in addition to the facility. The dignitaries together with the MP and the audience being witness commenced the swore cutting of the facility, follow by the inspection of the various unit in the facility, and climax with a photoshoot.
