Following his engagement with the Chief, elders, and residents of Adasawase, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Ernest Owusu Ntim, met with commercial drivers operating within the community to discuss concerns over the high transport fares charged on the Adasawase–district capital route.

The issue of what residents described as the unprecedented increase in lorry fares was one of the major concerns raised during the community engagement. In response, the DCE engaged the drivers to better understand the factors contributing to the fare increases and to explore possible solutions that would ease the burden on commuters while ensuring fairness to transport operators.
