The Atiwa East District Assembly convened an all-staff meeting on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, at the Assembly Hall, bringing together management and staff to deliberate on pressing institutional concerns, including staff welfare, revenue mobilisation, sanitation, and attendance.

The meeting, chaired by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Ernest Ntim, and coordinated by District Coordinating Director (DCD) Paul Aquah, served as a vital platform for open dialogue between the Assembly’s leadership and its workforce. The gathering underscored management’s commitment to fostering a transparent and productive working environment within the district.

Topping the agenda were staff welfare and revenue mobilisation — two pillars that management identified as central to the Assembly’s operational effectiveness. The DCE, Hon. Ernest Ntim, used the occasion to reaffirm his personal and institutional commitment to improving the conditions of service for all members of staff.

The DCE pledged his unwavering support toward ensuring that staff welfare concerns are addressed promptly and that the Assembly’s revenue mobilisation drives receive the full backing of his office.

On revenue mobilisation, management called on all relevant units to redouble their efforts in ensuring that the district maximises its internally generated funds (IGF). Staff were encouraged to take ownership of revenue collection processes and to uphold the highest standards of accountability in the discharge of their duties.

Management also turned the spotlight on sanitation within and around the Assembly’s premises. Staff were reminded of their collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, which the leadership stressed reflects the Assembly’s commitment to professionalism and public service standards.

Attendance and punctuality were equally highlighted as areas requiring immediate improvement. The DCD, Paul Aquah, emphasised that consistent attendance and adherence to working hours are non-negotiable expectations for all staff, adding that appropriate measures would be enforced to ensure compliance.

In closing, both Hon. Ernest Ntim and DCD Paul Aquah expressed gratitude to all staff for their continued dedication. They called for a renewed sense of purpose as the Assembly works toward achieving its developmental agenda for the Atiwa East District. Management encouraged staff to approach their roles with greater diligence, discipline, and a service-first orientation in line with the Assembly’s mandate.

The Atiwa East District Assembly remains committed to building a motivated, accountable, and high-performing workforce capable of driving sustainable development across the district.
