On Monday 9th March 2021, The Atiwa East District Assembly under the leadership of Hon. Kwabena Panin Nkansah held a stake holders meeting with members of the GPRTU and traders at Anyinam. The meeting was to have a discussion on the Covid-19 situation in the District and measures to help sustain the progress made and also give out some PPEs to the leaders to be given to their members to add to what the Assembly has already given.
The Distribution was done with the intension to protect traders and drivers in the district which will go a long way to protect the entire populations.
Addressing the stakeholders at the meeting at the meeting, the DCE reiterated his government’s commitment to ensure the well being of every Ghanaian. He also informed those present about the state of Covid-19 in the District. He was happy to announce that, the District has no active case as he was speaking and therefore advised that guards should not be let down base of the present success but to be alert till the pandemic is declared over.
