The ancient Anaconda palm tree is also located at Anyinam in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The Anaconda palm tree used to be a normal palm tree which was brought down for the manufacturing of local drink called Palm wine (Nsafufu). After the use of the palm tree for the local drink, the palm tree died. Years upon years later, the dead palm tree started growing up mysteriously again and not in a form of a normal palm tree but in a form of an Anaconda (Snake) to scare enemies from destroying it again.
Due to this magnificent nature of the anaconda palm tree, some inhabitants around started worshipping it for all kind of purposes in life been it sickness, financial help, marriage etc.
