The Atiwa East District Assembly on Friday, 7th June, 2024 held a brief ceremony at the premises of the District Assembly, Anyinam to commemorate the 4th edition of the National Green Ghana Day.
The event was marked with a symbolic tree planting by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Kwabena Panin Nkansah and District Coordinating Director, Mr. Shakil Kpedau Mahamood at the compound of the District Assembly.
Over, 5,000 tree seedlings of different species received from the Forestry Commission were also distributed to the sixteen Electoral Areas to be planted across the District.
