In the month of March 13th, 2023 to March 17th, 2023, Atiwa East District Assembly led by the DCE, Honorable Kwabena Panin Nkansah dedicated those days for the celebration 5th anniversary. Purpose of the celebration was to remind how the district became autonomous, carve out from Atiwa west District with the capital at Kwabeng, and was inaugurated by His Excellency Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffu Addo, the president of Ghana on March 15th, 2018.
