This year 2023 world TB Day was held at Akyem Ankaase a Community in the Atiwa east District. the Health Directorate organize a sensitization exercise in the community to educate the natives of the effects and the need to report early at the health facility since the Disease can be cure only when it is detected earlier and put on medication. A ground durbar was held to crown the week long celebrations at Akyem Ankaase.
