
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Atiwa East District on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at exactly 10:00 a.m., paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Osoroase–Krobom, together with his elders and the entire community, as part of his ongoing stakeholder engagement tour across the district.
The visit formed part of the DCE’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between the District Assembly, traditional authorities, and local communities to accelerate development and improve service delivery. The DCE noted that traditional leadership remains a critical partner in governance and local development, emphasizing that meaningful progress can only be achieved through mutual respect, dialogue, and cooperation.
Addressing the gathering, the DCE expressed his appreciation to the Chief, elders, and people of Osoroase–Krobom for their warm reception and continued support for government initiatives. He outlined the Assembly’s development agenda, highlighting the need for community participation, discipline, and collective responsibility in addressing challenges such as sanitation, spatial planning, and youth development.
The DCE reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance, assuring the community that their concerns and development needs would be factored into the Assembly’s plans. He encouraged residents to support ongoing and future projects and to work closely with Assembly officials to ensure sustainability and accountability.

The engagement was well attended by representatives from the District Assembly, including officers from the Administration, Works Department, the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), and the Information Services Department (ISD). Also present were the District Executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Assemblywoman for the Osoroase–Krobom Electoral Area, underscoring the importance of inclusive participation and multi-stakeholder collaboration in local governance.

In his response, the Chief of Osoroase–Krobom welcomed the DCE and commended him for taking the initiative to engage directly with the community. He pledged the full support of the traditional council and the people of Osoroase–Krobom towards the realization of the district’s development goals, while also drawing attention to some pressing community needs requiring Assembly intervention.
The engagement concluded with an open forum where elders, opinion leaders, and community members shared their views and concerns. The DCE and his team addressed the issues raised, reaffirming the Assembly’s readiness to work hand in hand with all stakeholders to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development within the district.
